Site safety signage: what the regulations require
ISO 7010 pictograms, ISO 3864 colours, mounting height: the minimum required on a site in Benin.

Standard pictograms
ISO 7010 sets the form of the pictograms. A hand-drawn symbol carries no legal weight.
Safety colours
ISO 3864: red for prohibition and fire, yellow for warning, blue for mandatory actions, green for emergency and rescue.
Substrate and mounting
Aluminium or PVC depending on exposure, retroreflective film in traffic areas, mounting height between 1.70 m and 2.50 m.
